Dave Peters
Coach-Owner
Dave fell in love with the sport of gymnastics in high school. He started volunteering as an SDSU Jackrabbit in 1989, and ten years later bought the current Gold Medal Gymnastics gym. He coached while attending school at SDSU and coached for six years in Sioux Falls before returning and starting his adventure with GMG!
Becca Peters
Coach-Owner
Becca started gymnastics when she was in 6th grade where she fell in love with the sport and continued competing througout high school. In 1997, after graduating, she started coaching and continues to coach along side her husband, Dave, at the gym! She and Dave were married in 2002 and own the gym. Becca is usually seen at the gym coaching our Team gymnasts and working behind the scenes to make sure everything goes smoothly.
She and Dave have five children, Dawson, Aspen, Braylon, Caylon, and Thomas. In her free time, Becca likes to be outdoors: running, biking, and enjoying her family!
Abby Christensen
Coach
Abby started gymnastics at the GMG Madison location when she was five and started competing at age eight. She continued with club gymnastics at GMG through 10th grade when she was a level 8. Abby competed for Madison High School 8th-12th grade. In high school, she also participated in cheer, volleyball, and track.
Abby has been coaching at GMG since she was in 8th grade and loves working with gymnasts at all levels.
Heidi
Administrative Assistant
Heidi started working at Gold Medal Gymnastics when her daughters were attending classes! Through this job, she has learned to love the sport of gymnastics and still has a daughter competing now for our North Stars Team! It's good to love your job, and Heidi definitely does!
